2) What we collect and why
We only process:
- Contact requests (contact form or direct email): name, surname, email, phone (optional), message, and your consent checkbox. Purpose: respond to your inquiry and manage follow-up. - Web analytics (Google Analytics 4): pseudonymous identifiers and usage data to understand aggregated traffic. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), gathered via our cookie banner before activation. - Contact requests: for the time needed to handle the request and up to 24 months thereafter (audit trail), unless longer storage is required by law/university policy.
- Analytics events: retained in GA4 up to 14 months (configuration-dependent); cookies may last up to 2 years unless you delete them or withdraw consent. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept longer. Google Support

1) What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use only the minimal set necessary for site operation and analytics cookies (GA4) only after your consent.
2) What we set on this site
A. Strictly necessary (always on, no consent needed)
- Basic WordPress/session and security cookies (if present) to load pages, keep your cookie choices, and protect the site. These do not profile you.
B. Analytics (consent-based)
Activated only if you accept analytics in the banner:
- _ga (first-party, Google Analytics 4) — 2 years — distinguishes users (pseudonymous).
- _ga_<container-id> (first-party, GA4) — 2 years — persists session state. Google Support
We do not use marketing/advertising or social-media tracking cookies by default. If future embeds (e.g., YouTube, X/Twitter) are added, they will be blocked until you opt in.
3) Managing your preferences
You can set or withdraw consent at any time via the site’s cookie banner/settings. You can also block/delete cookies in your browser (see browser help). Refusing analytics does not impair core site functions but may affect our ability to improve the service.
4) Google Analytics 4 specifics
GA4 relies on first-party cookies and processes aggregated usage statistics. More about GA4 cookies (names, purposes, durations) is available in Google’s documentation. Activation on EU sites requires explicit consent under GDPR/ePrivacy. Google Support+1
